*I should have split these in two but I thought the sleepy baby was worth keeping.
Is it harder to read when it's a full page?
**Oh, it's Nick & Norah's. This movie was a lot better than I thought it would be, which isn't saying much.
I just couldn't help but wonder...if I was born seven years later would I actually like like this movie?
*My housemate Ben is busy making daily videos. Check them out.

**Lisa's reading series is actually called "I HAD IT BAD" and the bar is actually Happy Ending Lounge.
*As I was closing the store on the 13th I touched a porn rental covered in lube. Ew. Such an important detail.
**I forgot to complete the Valentine's day quote.
"Chill, chill, that's the shit" - Nas
*Little work doodles. Helping me figure out what a strip means? Maybe. I'm almost there.
**Oh, I also had this big breakthrough. Hopefully I can combine two projects I've been trying to start into one super project. I couldn't find a way to make "The Wizard of God" stand alone as a strip. But! as a major character in another strip, that's a whole different story.
We'll see. It's coming.
** Joe is planning on transcribing every piece of writing, excluding trash, that he can find in all the subway stations of NYC. We're talking advertisements, graffiti, train announcements and all the little things. He thinks this will take years. I'm not going to say more, but I'm loving the idea. When some writing gets posted I'll provide a link.
He also co-edits an online contemporary poetry review journal, Sustainable Aircraft. I bet there's a better way to describe what this is, but in any case, check it out.
** Jesse Reklaw, over at Slow Wave, is always accepting interesting dream submissions. He chooses one a week to transforms into a comic strip. It seems like he receives a bunch, so if you submit one, make sure it's quality.
He also has these wonderful diary comics that were a huge inspiration for me when I decided to start this blog. So check those out, because I do...
Oh, and recently I discovered he is also a UCSC alumni. Strange world.
